i've been in love with a difficult man for more than 16 yrs. we are not together now, but i wish i had the words to say how i feel. encouraging words to let go, i mean to really let go, all the while knowing my heart is breaking.
i am seriously trying to be a GODLY woman, however at this time, he is doing something different.
i know GOD has someone real special for me, but since having turned 40, with nothing but bad relationships in my wake, it's hard to focus on that, especially when my heart seems to live somewhere else.

I am a Graphic Design student at New Jersey City University enrolled in a Portfolio Preparation course looking to conduct a brief information interview in the area of the field in which I am most interested. While searching for local greeting card companies I came across an article in USA Today about you and your business, which I found both helpful, and encouraging. Consequently, I would like to request permission to obtain more information, afterwhich I will be required to make a brief presentation of my findings to my class and professor. If you could find the time to help me out, whether over the telephone, via email, or person-to-person, I would greatly appreciate it.

It's nice to find a kindred spirit, Karen. I believe that things happen for a reason and I am thrilled to see your line of cards. Your illustrator does remarkable things and your cards have a visible life of their own; they're thick, and juicy, and alive, and R-E-A-L. (Remember "The Velveteen Rabbit"?) I saw the article in the USA Today paper. I loved what I saw. You are an inspiration and you offer me encouragement. I am just beginning my journey in the greeting card business and admire the progress that you have made thus far. Unlike you, I am a caucasion woman of 57 years. I have been designing cards for friends and family for years and finally decided to go for it. I saw a need for ethnic cards and have designed several cards of Asian, Black and White children. You are right, I love what I do and if nothing ever comes of it I will keep on designing them for friends and family. The Lord gave me a gift and I know that he loves what I do.
